description Introduction: Using Electronic healthcare to improve the quality and effectiveness of the health care services is necessary considering the healthcare infrastructure in Iran. The aim of this study was to investigate the determinants of physicians' technology acceptance for e-health in healthcare setting. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study was performed on all physicians working at teaching hospitals. Finally, 140 physicians participated in this study. In order to collect data and test the research hypothesis, a researcher-made questionnaire was used based on the variations of the TAM and UTAUT models. The reliability of questionnaire was confirmed (r=0.8). Data were analyzed using SPSS 22 and SmartPLS 3.2. Results: The average score of perceived efficiency, behavioral intention, importance of information security, intensity of IT use, perceived ease of use, electronic healthcare knowledge, importance of standardization and familiarity process was higher than 3 indicating that the level of variables was intermediate. The structures of the models analyzed in this study had positive effect on the use of electronic healthcare services by the physicians. Conclusion: Based on the findings, the health-care administrators and politicians are recommended to use technology acceptance theories in order to determine the determinants of physicians' technology acceptance and use for e-health and to take steps in improving the healthcare services quality and avoid waste of resources.
