Description
Summary:Bearing in mind the fact that causes and motives of violent behaviour are very complex, it is evident why it is difficult to be identified, controlled, and finally eliminated. Its complexity needs such problems to be researched from many aspects (psychological, pedagogical), which are present in such measure in which it was necessary to be complementary addition to sociological one, with the aim the bullying problem to be explained and viewed at explicit manner. In the last few years we are witnessing the evident and alarming increase in bullying among youths, either in case numbers or more severe forms of violent behaviour. There are many theories dealing with these problems, by explaining the appearing of bullying in schools. The escalation problem among youths is one of the problems concerning all of us. All official and non-official researches confirm that showing many pupils are feeling threatened and insecure, while others are learning, unfortunately, bullying is profitable. Some critics would ask whether the aggression in contemporary world is bad anywhere except in the didactic books. The existence of bullying in schools should be recognized, acknowledged and realized by the society that it is necessary to fight against it, and during that process of complex and long-lasting fight against bullying all subjects such as school, teachers, leadership and educational authorities, and parents should take part in it - either their children are victims or bullies, then pupils themselves, media and other members of the community. Furthermore, the community should recognize general cultural ambience which promotes bullying as a way of communication, and finds a way to confront the culture of bullying. The best way is prevention in the sense of good socialization of youths what is supposed to be the task of the whole society, and first of all family and school. School has the possibility to prevent and reduce bullying with pupils at early stage, and to develop with them a positive social behaviour. The culture of bullying created at the foundations of wars and social escalations, nourished with media presentation and glorification of bullying was designated as a culprit; while talking about the bullying in schools, it is more precisely to talk about the culture of disrespect, intolerance, mutual disregard, which are being developed from the social anomie.
