Summary:Individualized study of twelve coins recently purchased by Culture, Educational and Sport Ministry in December of 2013 and April of 2014, traded though Áureo & Calicó auction house, that were assigned to National Archaeological Museum, under file number 2013/96/1 up to 2013/96/12, and 2014/78/4. For each of them in turn, specific peculiarities are analyzed from different perspectives, such as numismatic, historical, political, economic, documentary, epigraphic, archaeological, metrological, symbolic and iconographic. Additionally, included within are various comments regarding the commendable work of compilation undertaken by Museums and Official Institutions towards the acquisition and preservation of certain unique archaeological rarities, especially highlighting those points concerning peninsular Christian medieval numismatics.
