Whereas production and comprehension of some grammatical structures can be mastered easily, others are hard to learn and rarely do they reach native-like levels. This paper looks into the processing difficulties of the late-learned language from a neurolinguistic perspective and evaluates comprehension studies in the literature which investigated grammatical processing. |
