Summary:Taking the spur gears as example,the transient finite element model of friction heating of gear meshing is established based on the thermal-solid coupling method under the framework of LS-DYNA. By comparing with the theoretical results,the validity of the model is verified,and the friction heating of gear meshing is calculated by concerning the thermal conductivity,and the results shown differences with the theoretical calculation. The research could be used to the heat source calculating in the analysis of gear temperature field.
