Summary: | Meckel's diverticulum is the most common congenital malformation of the gastrointestinal tract. In this report, we present a patient with a Meckel's diverticulum that was incidentally discovered on prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PSMA PET/CT) imaging performed for prostate cancer staging. We discuss hypotheses for why the Meckel's diverticulum showed high uptake of PSMA-targeted radiotracer and the clinical implications of this finding. |
