| Summary: | Technological tendencies of the developers of equipment of electric protection, go to the creation of IntelligentElectronic Devices (IEDs) that are able to concentrate the protection and control functions in one unit. At thepresent the Cuban industries have the necessity to modernize their facilities, being the engineers in the dilemmaof what technology of electric protection to use. In this work are shown four different strategies to face thisalternative on the base of technical analysis – economicorientatives. A case of real study is presented thatallows to compare the strategies. |
