Description
Summary:[Objective] The electricity consumption in vehicle depot accounts for a large proportion of the total in urban rail transit. In order to reduce the depot electricity consumption, it is necessary to do research on the application of new electricity saving technology in vehicle depot. [Method] Based on the analysis of the function layout, the power consumption of equipment and facilities in vehicle depot, and in view of the application status of the new energy-saving technologies, the feasibility study is conducted on utilizing solar energy technology, energy saving light technology and intelligent lighting control technology in vehicle depot. The energy-saving effects and benefits of solar heater, photovoltaic power generation facilities, tubular solar lighting system, light source for tall and big workshops, and intelligent lighting control system are analyzed. [Result & Conclusion] Utilizing new energy-saving technologies such as solar heater, photovoltaic power generation facilities and tubular solar lighting system can achieve remarkable energy-saving effects. The electrodeless lamp has strong advantages in tall and big workshop, avoiding large area halo phenomenon and saving 39.8% electricity consumption compared with the halogen lamp. Intelligent lighting control system can realize intelligent management and control of lighting system in vehicle depot and enable the lighting system in the depot to run in the best economic way, saving 10% to 20% of energy compared with the non-intelligent lighting system, and effectively reducing operation cost.
