Summary:The primary goal of the research is to determine the differences in mobility capabilityes of boys at early school age, between the ones involved in the training process at sports clubs and the ones who have no other sports activities besides the regular classes of physical education at school. The tested participants were 63 boys at the age of 9 or 10 ± 6 months. The group of boys who were involved in the training proces, consisted of 36 boys and group of boys not involved in sports clubs consisled of 27 boys. The assessment of their mobylity capabilities was conducted using 12 variables. The canonical discriminative analysis showed that there are global differences between the two samples in favour of boys involved in sports clubs which is explained by the transformational procees of training and directed selection
