| Summary: | This paper tries to determine the importance of the language laboratory in modern teaching and to motivate teachers and executives to use it. The first part explains some common statements concerning a laboratory presenting its essential advantages, the several existing types, a summary of possible operations and respective student I teacher roles regarding the electronic apparatus. The second part clarifies the programming, production and exploitation of a sound laboratory - electronic library set. This summarized introduction to the language laboratory is done only from the audio point of view and it does not include a possible audio-visual integration under all desirable forms.<p><p>No presente trabalho, procura-se demonstrar a importância do laboratório de línguas no ensino moderno e sensibilizar professores e executivos quanto a essa importância. A primeira parte esclarece algumas afirmações a respeito do laboratório, apresenta suas principais vantagens, os diversos tipos de laboratórios existentes, uma síntese de operações possíveis, e o desempenho de professor e aluno em relação a esse aparelho eletrônico. A segunda parte do trabalho tenta esclarecer a programação, produção e aproveitamento no ensino das diversas disciplinas que integram o currículo da Universidade, utilizando-se o complexo estúdio-de-som-laboratório fitoteca O presente estudo trata apenas do aspecto auditivo do laboratório; não analisa uma possível integração audio-visual sob todas as formas desejáveis. |
