All these elements are combined in the territory as fundamental elements in creating the conditions and processes of globalization with local development. Objective: To review the various theories of Local Development and the terms of the internationalization of enterprises in the territories, leading to the glocal concept in the regions. Methods: Review of 20 articles of national and international investigations that consider and incorporate the local development and internationalization as fundamental axes. Findings: The Local Development should be given before an internationalization process in companies that allow them to be competitive in globalized environments, internationalization processes are not successful in business without the fundamentals that contains the Local Development in the regions. |
