description | The research aims to investigate the motion of a two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic fluid with hyperbolic tangent properties, combined with nanoparticles, as it approaches a stretching sheet. The flow of nanofluid is hypothesized to be a consequence of the stretching of an elastic sheet within a porous medium. The stretching sheet has a rough surface, and this allows for the consideration of the slip velocity phenomenon. Mathematically modeling the analysis of current flow results in a set of nonlinear partial differential equations, which can be simplified into ordinary differential equations using appropriate dimensionless transformations. Subsequently, the resulting equations are solved utilizing the shooting technique. A comprehensive analysis is conducted to interpret in detail how the various physical parameters influence concentration, velocity, and temperature. Moreover, local Sherwood number, local skin friction, and local Nusselt number are calculated and presented in a tabular form for further analysis. The precision of the computed results is further confirmed by comparing the obtained findings with the body of available literature. It is noted that there is a clear similarity between the current results and the provided data. This demonstrate that the suggested numerical procedure is accurate. Quantitative findings reveal that augmenting the porous parameter, slip velocity parameter, power law index, and magnetic parameter leads to a reduction in the nanofluid velocity. However, a contrasting pattern emerges in the case of the temperature profile. Further, through a comprehensive examination, it has been revealed that the slip velocity phenomenon significantly influences the dynamics of nanofluid flow. |
