Description
Summary:A precise motion compensation method is proposed to achieve very-high-resolution synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image. The very-high-resolution is designed to achieve higher than 0.1 m resolution. For very-high-resolution SAR with wider integration angle, it implies that there exists phase error caused by the squint angle. Further, the phase error between the margin and the centre of the beam is azimuth variant. The proposed two-step motion compensation method can effectively overcome the shortcomings of the normal method and achieve. The real data results with well-focused very-high-resolution SAR images demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.
