Summary:This paper has in its objective to identify of what the National Policy of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension provides to the family farmer the access to Information and Communication Technologies. It is bibliography and documentary research, where were analyzed laws, papers and other studies related to themes. The result, ascertain that the National Policy of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension does not include the adoption of Information and Communication Technologies as a tool of support or strengthening of Family Farming. Therefore, concludes that exists the need in to adjust these policies to present reality, reiterating that new actions owe be effectuated, therewith, enable that the families and associations comprised by these policies can obtain more efficiency in your activities.
