Summary:Despite numerous studies in various fields of economics and business, the process of globalization still provokes divided views and different opinions about the impact that performs certain macroeconomic variables and businesses. The main objective of this paper is to highlight the impact of globalization on human potential realized in an organization and to identify ways in which changes are taking place in the field of human resources. The research is primarily focused on changes in the domain structure of the human resources department, the job description, then sizing the impact of globalization on the fluctuation of employees in the organization and changes relating to the duties and responsibilities of employees. The subject of study is a human resources plan and its changes occurring as a result of the process of globalization, which are simultaneously interacting with the total number of employees, their knowledge and skills and needs for additional training, as well as the strategy of human resource management. The paper uses the methodology of case studies where a practical example is used to identify and verify the theoretical concepts studied changes. In this way, we identified certain advantages and disadvantages which can be a useful conceptual framework for the development of human resource management practices in Serbia.
