description Aiming at the power cycle problem existing in the available planetary gearset power-split hybrid electric vehicle,a new configuration of single planetary gearset power-split hybrid electric vehicle combined with automatic clutch,automatic brake and reduction gear pair was proposed in order to improve the vehicle power performance and economical performance.The key assembly parameters were matched,the structural design of the planetary gearset gears was completed,and the strength analysis was carried out based on ANSYS.The control strategy aiming at the best fuel economy of the engine was proposed,and the co-simulation platform was built based on AVL Cruise and MATLAB/Simulink to verify the vehicle power performance and economical performance.The results show that compared with the available planetary gearset power-split hybrid configuration,the maximum speed of the vehicle with the new configuration is increased by 3.8%,the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is shortened by 7.64%,the maximum climbing degree is increased by 18.09%,and the comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 km under conditions WLTC is decreased by 14.88%.Using the new configuration can eliminate the power cycle and effectively improve the vehicle power performance and economical performance,which provides some reference for the design of other hybrid configurations.
