Description
Summary:The paper introduces the results of experimental researches on pyrotechnic composition (aluminum nanopowder + iron oxide) ignition by laser radiation (λ=1,06 µm) with pulse duration 3,5 ms. The authors have measured energy thresholds of laser ignition of the investigated composition and the composition with aluminum oxide admixtures at different press in densities. Phase composition of end combustion products was studied. It was ascertained that the admixtures of aluminum oxide nanopowder into iron-aluminum termite reduce energy ignition thresholds when increasing sample density.
