Summary:This paper discusses the objectives and methodologies of the IStReS (Iberian Studies Reference Site) project. IStReS (http://istres.letras.ulisboa.pt) is an online platform that provides tools for researchers in the field of Iberian Studies, which include a searchable bibliographic database, a “Who’s who” of relevant scholars in the field, and frequent news updates about happenings in the discipline. On the other hand, it presents an analysis of the 1,786 references that are currently included in the database in order to obtain a more detailed image of the status of Iberian Studies today. The results will allow to draw some conclusions on the current configuration of the field.
