| Summary: | This paper discusses on the static stability performance of a fishing vessel operated static fishing gear. A fishing boat named as KM PSP 01 was chosen as an object of this research. The objectives of this research were to analyze the static stability performance and work comfortability aboard the vessel. The result showed that KM PSP 01 was good enough for operating static fishing gear, the static stability of the boat is considered to be good with enough righting arm to upright the boat after roll to certain maximum angle. Hull of the boat considered as slim. Short rolling period i.e. 3.467 sec. considered as not so comfortable for working on deck but still safe in fishing operation. |
