Summary: | A pendulum system is widely used for vibration attenuation and energy harvesting. This paper considers a pendulum under the attraction of double magnets. The governing equation is obtained by Newton’s second law, and it is simplified to Duffing–Holmes oscillator. Its approximate periodic solution with a good accuracy is obtained with easy by Ji-Huan He’s frequency formulation. |
