Description
Summary:The author first compares the separate evolution in two states (Republic of Moldova and Romanian Moldave province) issued from the unitary medieval Moldavia. Then he deplores that young writers coming from the other side of the Prut do not produce a literature worthy of their elders born in the fifties: Grigore Vieru, Leonida Lari, Matkovski, all of them in a reaction against the sovietisation and russification. Having passed through experiences worthy of Soljenitsyne, Platonov, Zinoviev, Babel, these newcomers only copy the post-modern writers of Romania in the eighties, themselves inferiors to their elders of post-stalinian Romania, revealed by the sixties.
