description Every speech community has a set of beliefs and myths regarding its own language. Depending on the content of such beliefs, the recognition and acceptance of linguistic loans from other linguistic systems can be, in many cases, a matter of dispute. Linguistic borrowing, considered as a term from a foreign language or, within the same language, coming from another linguistic subsystem, is common in all languages for specific purposes, and it is not an exception in Arabic. This phenomenon has always had a place of prominence in the discussion of Arab philologists and grammarians of the past as well as of the present days. Here it will be explored, historically, the participation of this tool in spite of the resistance of many in the neology formation of the Arabic specific purpose language.
