Results: in the studies, there are descriptions of sepsis, clinical signs, several changes and main nursing interventions. Cardiovascular disorders were discussed in particular, since they are determining factors for development of sepsis. Conclusions: multidisciplinary health team interventions aim to screen the several factors that predispose the patient to sepsis. In this context, nursing interventions are indispensable and should reach resoluteness for the prevention and correction of clinical changes brought by sepsis.
