description This paper aims to highlight how the culture of peace represents the ‘road’ to a more ‘humane’ and united future. Although the war in Ukraine, like previous conflicts, seems to be driven by the need to find the solution in more violence, peace can be seen as the only way out. And indeed, today the realisation of peace seems to be the antidote to injustice and inequality. From this point of view, every human being is called to participate in its concretisation. In this sense, experiences such as voluntary work, civil service, social and political commitment, can truly represent moments of personal training aimed at building a better world for the new generations.
