Summary: | Rare trochee sizes in the poetry of V. Hodasevich and their contextual priorities
In the article the actual problem of expressive halos of versification forms on an example of the rare trochaic meters in Hodasevich’s lyric poetry is considered. The author comes to a conclusion, that little-used ultra short and ultra long trochaic lines numbering from 1 to 3 or from 6 to 7 accent, and also hetero-accentual, mostly, manumissions (with unpredictable fluctuation of accentuation) most expressional auras possess. In the poems written to 1910 from 1919, rather refined arsenal of rhythmic means in more organic conformity with their maintenance is used; it is the interaction of male and female, caesuras and non-caesuras, 6- and the 5-accentual lines, the effect of non-catalectic continuity and a sharp breakage of the intonation on catalectic male clauses.
