| description | <p>Both foreign and Russian psychologists agree that art therapy has proved effective in working with children in conflict with the law. The most effective means of transferring ideas about themselves, their feelings and attitudes is doll made by teenagers. Sometimes a doll symbolizes the essence of the hero or something in his nature that needs to be discovered. Two criteria are taken into account when choosing the material for making dolls: the ability to make changes in the doll without sacrificing the overall aesthetic impression and the possibility of more improvisation in making a doll. In this regard, advantages of clay, including polymeric clay, over other materials are described in the article. The scheme of the analysis of a clay doll presented in article and based on FEATS has become one of the results of workshops with adolescents. Some peculiarities of teenagers’ dolls are also described in the article.</p> |
