| Summary: | The article considers the main approaches to defining the essence of the concept of "social infrastructure", offers its own interpretation of the term, highlights the components of social infrastructure. The main indicators and trends of its industries for the period 2008-2020 are analyzed and a general description of the state of these industries in 2020 is given. Territorial differences in the development and functioning of social infrastructure in the context of cities of regional significance and raions of Chernivtsi oblast.
