The study was executed with the descriptive survey model.In this study, the values of “caring about family unity, being just, independence, peace, freedom, being scientific, industriousness, solidarity, sensibility, honesty, aesthetic, tolerance, hospitality, caring about being healthy, respect, love, responsibility, cleanliness, patriotism, helpfulness” are discussed.In these values, the value of being just, with 103 proverbs, is found the most, and the value of patriotism and independency, with 1 proverb, is found the
least. Consequently, it is determined that many proverbs can be used in order to transmit the values, taking part in the education of social studies. |
