Summary: | The results of examination and treatment in 274 patients with severe gunshot wounds suggest that abnormal pain, external respiratory and circulatory disorders, impaired cell utilization of oxygen and energy plastic substrates induce acute lung lesion syndrome (ALLS). The timely inclusion of respiratory support into intensive care and the optimization of therapy, by supplementing early enteral feeding, reduce the incidence of ALLS and improve the results of treatment. |
