description | The study of spectra of internal friction <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi>λ</mi><mo>=</mo><mi>f</mi><mfenced open="(" close=")"><mi>T</mi></mfenced></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula> and temperature dependencies of frequency of freely damped <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi>ν</mi><mo>=</mo><mi>f</mi><mfenced open="(" close=")"><mi>T</mi></mfenced></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula> oscillatory process excited in investigated samples of polyethylene with different degree of crystallinity in the temperature range from −150 <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><msup><mrow></mrow><mo>°</mo></msup></semantics></math></inline-formula>C to +150 <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><msup><mrow></mrow><mo>°</mo></msup></semantics></math></inline-formula>C. It is established that four local dissipative processes of different intensity shown in different temperature intervals are observed on the spectra <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi>λ</mi><mo>=</mo><mi>f</mi><mfenced open="(" close=")"><mi>T</mi></mfenced></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula>. These are <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mi>μ</mi></semantics></math></inline-formula>, <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mi>β</mi></semantics></math></inline-formula>, <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mi>α</mi></semantics></math></inline-formula>, <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><msub><mi>β</mi><mi>k</mi></msub></semantics></math></inline-formula> processes. The theoretical analysis of the relationship between the anomalous changes of the vibrational process frequency <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi>ν</mi><mo>=</mo><mi>f</mi><mfenced open="(" close=")"><mi>T</mi></mfenced></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula> and the shift modulus defect <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mo>Δ</mo><mi>G</mi><mo>=</mo><mi>f</mi><mfenced open="(" close=")"><mi>T</mi></mfenced></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula> and the internal friction mechanisms for each of the dissipative loss processes detected on the spectrum <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi>λ</mi><mo>=</mo><mi>f</mi><mfenced open="(" close=")"><mi>T</mi></mfenced></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula> is carried out. The influence of supramolecular structures on local dissipative <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><msub><mi>β</mi><mi>k</mi></msub></semantics></math></inline-formula> process in polyethylene is estimated. |
