| Summary: | The song is one of the types of literary works, the song is a poem that has a meaningful stanza and has a certain style of language described by the author. The lyrics of the song Lughāt Al-'Alam describe a mother's love for her child. The language used in the lyrics of this song contains figurative meanings, so the researcher wants to describe the style of language contained in the lyrics of this song. The purpose of this study is to describe the variety of language styles contained in the lyrics of the song Lughāt Al-'Alam by Humood Alkhudher. The method used in conducting this analysis is a descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive method is a procedure of problem solving that will be investigated. While qualitative, which is done through an inductive flow or process of explanatory events, so as to produce a conclusion from a process from these events that can be drawn. The data collection technique used is to refer to the note-taking technique, in order to obtain relevant data, while the note-taking technique is an advanced technique for conducting analysis. The result of this research is that the author uses three language styles in song lyrics, including: 4 hyperbole figure of speech, 1 paradox figure of speech and 1 personification figure of speech. |
