Summary:hrough Directive 1999/70/CE, in the EU the Frame-agreement regarding timeboundwork was implemented, signed by the inter-professional overall vocational organizations (CES,UNICEF and CEEP). Through the general consideration in the frame-agreement, the partiesunderlined the fact that especially the time-bound work contracts represent the general frame of thework relations, as they contribute to the quality of the life of the employees and bettering theirperformance, but, at the same time, one has to remember that these “time-bound work contacts are acharacteristic of work in some sectors, occupations and activities, which can be convenient both toworkers (employees), and to employers.
