Description
Summary:Through the concepts of formlessness and of image as an expression of spoliation, this paper intends to articulate the issue of figure in children’s drawings and primitive art. The image is taken as an ambiguous entity which lies between presence and absence, wavering between appearance and disappearance. These reflections unfold a proposal in which both gesture and pencil stroke are re-signified.
