description A theoretical method for studying the behavior of magnetic field intensity inside a rectangular plate with orthotropic anisotropic conductivity was presented. Firstly, based on Maxwell’s equations, the mathematical model for the magnetic field in the plate was established. Then, the governing equation for determining the magnetic field intensity was solved by double Fourier sinusoidal transformation. Furthermore, taking graphite rectangular plate as an example, the magnetic field intensity inside the plate was simulated and the behavior of the magnetic field was introduced in detail. Lastly, the effects of the plate’s size, the external excitation frequency and the conductivity of graphite on the internal magnetic field intensity were analyzed.
