description Educational buildings are among the building groups that have an extremely important impact on our lives. In the primary education period when brain development is shaped by environmental factors, the quality of educational buildings plays an extremely important role in children's learning experience. A sustainable school provides students with a comfortable education environment with the physical facilities it offers, while at the same time providing economic and environmental benefits. The aim of the study, in which sustainable practices specific to educational buildings are put forward; to examine the indoor comfort conditions of sustainable education buildings in the context of user opinions. For this purpose, a survey was conducted for students and teachers in Bahçeşehir Cihangir College and Terakki Foundation School, which has LEED certificate in Istanbul. While preparing the survey questions, the standards regarding indoor air quality developed by the LEED certificate to improve the indoor comfort level were taken as basis. The survey questions prepared in this context are; questions indoor air quality, thermal comfort, auditory comfort and visual comfort conditions. In the light of the data obtained from the surveys, evaluations regarding the current physical condition of the schools were made and the positive and negative aspects of the implementation of the sustainability criteria were emphasized.
