On the one hand, Cégep’s administration have broadened the spectrum of the tasks assigned to its staff; on the other hand, these same teachers have built a relationship to their occupation in which they distance themselves from the coercive powers. Therefore, the hybridization of professions, Cégep’s solution to counter institutionalized precariousness in prison settings, tend to locate the professors between education and social intervention. |
