Description
Summary:This thesis describes a graphical user interface which can aid in managing and visualizing detected anomalies within Database Operating System (DBOS). Because web applications can be built atop DBOS, it needs a security system to counteract incoming attacks from online. One of the cornerstones of a full security pipeline is a strong interface so system experts can monitor and react to incoming threats. While command line interfaces and graphical user interfaces are both means to monitor incoming/potential threats, the latter confer stronger advantages within the context of anomaly detection in DBOS. User studies were used to evaluate the interface’s features throughout the development process.
