Summary:US and China remain the two largest global economies in the world, with US nominal GDP at $20T, China at $14T. Meanwhile, platform technology continues to dominate the world’s largest companies, with four of the top five market cap companies in the world being platform technology companies. Beyond the business, platform economy also comes from living and understanding the culture behind both countries, and in doing this thesis features 43 informational interviews, two deep dive case studies on US and China based platform economies, and analysis of consumption and each country’s investment strategy. Informational Analysis on US & China Platform Strategy: A Comparative Analysis hopes to be able to highlight these growing areas in the world, and how history can affect future trends.
