Palladium–peptide oxidative addition complexes for bioconjugation

<jats:p>Peptides bearing palladium oxidative addition complexes can be synthesized from the parent aryl halide containing substrates and react with thiol functional groups of small molecules, peptides, and proteins at low micromolar concentrations.</jats:p>
