description In today's era, the innovation capability of deeptech has increasingly become an important competitiveness of a country. Against the background of geopolitical competition between China and the United States, emerging technologies such as AI, robotics, Biotech, and semiconductors have become the winners and losers of great power competition and future development. At the same time, the United States still leads the world in basic science and technology. There are a large number of Chinese students studying STEM in the United States, and they are considering using these technologies to start businesses in China. China from the central government to the local government is providing policy facilitation for this type of foreign student entrepreneurial project to return to China, and China's venture capitals are also keen to invest in this type of project. For Chinese STEM students in the United States, whether to choose to return to China and whether to choose to start a business is also a major decision. On the one hand, the United States has a better academic soil and innovation environment, and on the other hand, in terms of entrepreneurship, Chinese people can return to China to start a business with a higher upper limit, as well as a higher possibility of entrepreneurial success with the support of the government and VCs. Through this research, I will analyze the attractiveness of China's current deeptech industry students returning to China to start businesses from the aspects of China's government, VC, and society. Intention to do research and analysis.
