Search for B+ meson decay to a1+(1260)K*0(892)
We present a search for the decay B+→a1+(1260)K*0(892)[B superscript + →a subscript 1 superscript + (1260) K superscript *0 (892)]. The data, collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, represent 465×106BB̅ [465 x 10 superscript 6 BB̅] pairs produced in e+e- [e sup...

Summary: | We present a search for the decay B+→a1+(1260)K*0(892)[B superscript + →a subscript 1 superscript + (1260) K superscript *0 (892)]. The data, collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, represent 465×106BB̅ [465 x 10 superscript 6 BB̅] pairs produced in e+e- [e superscript + e superscript -] annihilation at the energy of the Υ(4S). We find no significant signal and set an upper limit at 90% confidence level on the product of branching fractions B(B+→a1+(1260)K*0(892))×B(a1+(1260)→π+π-π+) [Beta (B superscript + → a subscript 1 superscript + (1260) K superscript *0 (892) X Beta (a subscript 1 superscript + (1260) → pt superscript + pi superscript - pi superscript +)] of 1.8×10-6 [1.8 X 10 superscript -6]. |
