Summary: | We have searched for the lepton-number violating processes B[superscript +]→h[superscript -]ℓ[superscript +]ℓ[superscript +] with h[superscript -]=K[superscript -]/π[superscript -] and ℓ[superscript +]=e[superscript +]/μ[superscript +], using a sample of 471±3 million BB̅ events collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II e[superscript +]e[superscript -] collider at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. We find no evidence for these decays and place 90%-confidence-level upper limits on their branching fractions B(B[superscript +]→π[superscript -]e[superscript +]e[superscript +])<2.3×10[superscript -8], B(B[superscript +]→K[superscript -]e[superscript +]e[superscript +])<3.0×10[superscript -8], B(B[superscript +]→π[superscript -]μ[superscript +]μ[superscript +])<10.7×10[superscript -8], and B(B[superscript +]→K[superscript -]μ[superscript +]μ[superscript +])<6.7×10[superscript -8].
