Resumo:This thesis investigates the potential application of the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) as a method that facilitates risk management for product architectures. The process described by Pahl & Beitz and the Munich Procedural Model form the guiding frameworks to describe the process of product development in this thesis. Additionally, the perspective of Lean Product Development is taken into account.
