Description
Summary:The primary purpose of our research is to investigate the determinants of students' advice-seeking behaviour with respect to their undergraduate programme decision. In particular, we aim to identify the significant factors which affect advice-seeking disposition, as well as explore the relationship between students' advice-seeking disposition and their actual advice-seeking behaviour. We are also interested to find out the students' general attitude towards the usefulness of advice, the impact of gender difference on actual advice-seeking behaviour, their preferred gender of potential advisors, as well as inclination to follow the advice sought.
