Summary:This study focuses on spousal decision-making throughout three phases of the decision-making process (need recognition, information search and final decision). The significance of socioeconomic variables and effect of egalitarianism on relative spousal influence are also addressed. To obtain the necessary data for this research, a self-administered questionnaire was used. Marketers would benefit from this research by being able to develop better marketing strategies for their products.
