Περίληψη:The central objective of our applied research project is to examine the trends in the geographical distribution of global income during 1960-1995. That is, we look at the share of global income accruing to each continent and sub-region, and compare the levels and growth rates of their GDP per capita. Our data set is derived mainly from the Penn World Tables, version 5.6. A total of 162 countries and territories are included in our sample.
