Summary:In determining the self-concept variables that have strong explanatory effects on the academic performance of 300 tertiary students across the various institutions, a particular study style was found out to be effective regardless of genders, institutions or faculties.Academic performance of the genders are also compared to investigate if one group is better than the other and it is confirmed that genders do not play a part in determing their academic results.
