Description
Summary:This study investigates the association of managers' budgetary behavior and departmental performance under general conditions and in the context of a defender strategy typology. A survey of lower level operating managers in Singapore, who are in the manufacturing and service sectors, was carried out. The data was analysed using multivariate canonical correlation. This research is unique in that it is the first to introduce business strategic typology as a moderating factor in Singapore.
