Summary: | The primary objective in this study is to investigate both the time-averaged and turbulent behaviour in the mixing processes of a three-dimensional turbulent wall jet. A combined Digital Particle Image Velocimetry and Planar Laser Induced Fluorescence technique that enables simultaneous capturing of the two-dimensional velocity and concentration fields was employed. In addition, the mean velocity field of gravity plumes flowing over an inclined bottom of 20° and 40° were also studied. |
