description In Consumer Electronic Market, the product development cycle would become shorter and shorter for intense competition and time-to-market with the lowest cost. Therefore it is important to use the CAD tool efficiently to enhance the design ability in the shortest time. Device Modeling and Simulation will give the level of accuracy in the design and testing stage, and hence less time consuming. Simulation is a very useful tool for verifying and analysing the performance of non-linear circuits or systems, which may be difficult or impossible for testing and evaluation in breadboarding technique, for instance, accurate loop gain measurement of the feedback oscillator. However, simulation is only as good as the models used to represent the components of a circuit or system being simulated. In this thesis, the lower levels of Device Modeling as well as higher levels of Macromodeling and Analog Behavioural Modeling methodologies are being utilised to model the off-the-shelf devices.
